INDIAN DRONE  (DRDO) (UAV) CRASHED DURING TESTING IN AN ARICULTURAL AREA..

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) belonging to the Defense Research Development Organization (DRDO) crashed on Tuesday during tests in an agricultural field in Chitradurga district of Karnataka. No casualties were reported.

According to reports, the UAV developed technical huts soon after take-off. The UAV crashed on an AVA nut farm at Chalakekere taluk in Chitradurga district at 7.50 am. Farmers working on the farm made noise and rushed to the spot.

Chitradurga Superintendent of Police Arun K said, "There have been no casualties in the DRDO UAV accident, the UAVs crashed at Ereka Nut Farm this morning."

According to police officials, the aerial vehicle is the officials Rustom-2 '

DRDO officials reached the spot after the accident.

DRDO has a test range at Challakere known as Challakere Aeronautical Test Range (ATR), an external testing and evaluation facility established by DRDO specifically for unmanned and unmanned aircraft.
